APA sets the standards for payroll excellence through certification programs at two levels.  These certifications are valuable, objective credential that verifies a specified level of knowledge, skills, and abilitites in the payroll profession.

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
A certification credential for those with some experience in payroll.

Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)
A certification credential for payroll beginners and service support professionals.
